Seeing the games up close only drew me in further, some peoples armies were works of art and the miniatures looked amazing. I knew I wanted to get involved.

I decided that I ought to finally do something about mine and my brothers old lead mini’s which were lurking deep in a wobbly old wardrobe in my mum’s house.

In the beginning, there was a boy of 10 or 11 and he discovered Fighting Fantasy books. It was these fantastic books by the legends Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson that ignited my love for fantasy adventure, that sense of gaming and being the hero in your own story.
